Randall GrahamAward-winning artist Randall Graham will demonstrate oil media and techniques at The Brandywine River Museum in conjunction with the NC Wyeth Exhibit

Randall Graham is a local award-winning artist and instructor, known for his personal style of plein air painting. He has exhibited at Winterthur Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts Museum, the Edgar Allen Poe Museum, The Art Trust Gallery & Chester County Art Association, and teaches classes at Randall Graham Studio in Malvern and at Wayne Art Center.

FREE Plein Air Classes at Valley Forge

Free Plein Air Painting & Drawing at Valley Forge Park 
This is a great chance for beginners and veterans alike. Painters can enjoy nature's glory at Valley Forge Park with supportive guidance by instructor Randall Graham (for those who need/want it). Everyone is free to paint or draw (or photograph) whatever they wish. Randall walks around to everyone and helps with any questions or concepts/advice. He also gives tips on basic Plein Air concepts –advice on good locations, composition, how light will change, and good color recipes for a given landscape. At the start of each session, park rangers will give a brief description of the history of that day's location. Please feel free to email Randall directly with any questions:
Meet at the following locations inside the park unless otherwise noted:

  • June 16th - Betzwood Picnic Area 10am - 12pm

  • July 14th - Wayne’s Woods Picnic Area 10am - 12pm

  • August 4th - Washinton’s Memorial Chapel 10am - 12pm
